Lil Bees Trade

I made a Minkee cover for another customer a few months ago and Jenni from Lil Bees happened to see it and wanted something similar. I had already promised to do some PUL embroidery for her for another project, so we decided to work out a trade...her momma pads (the most brilliant design, EVER) made from my scrap OBV, for 2 of my dipes! What a great deal for me since I absolutely loathe making momma pads! hahaha!

Well even though it was a few months in the making...holidays and other things going on...we both finally got everything finished! She made the most beautiful pads for me, and I made a 3d diaper and cover for her. :)

3d PUL and fleece cover with viking embroidery
Side snaps in crimson and baby blue
3d Minkee/Minkee fitted with Alaska embroidery in pastel varigated thread
Side snaps in baby blue, soft pink, lime and yellow
I hope you love them Jenni. They will be going out in tomorrow's mail...I forgot today was a national holiday (which is pretty sad since it is also my sons birthday!). Yes, in case you were wondering, I have survived the sleepover...11 VERY loud children...who woke up at 5am!! (after finally getting to sleep at midnight). They are all still here...and all I can say is thank goodness for the Wii! LOL

The little guy often asks for his 'boat diaper' (I've mostly had pockets and AIOs so he doesnt' understand really that it's a cover and still needs something inside, LOL!) When it's on he will twist and turn and then ask for my hand mirror so that he can see the boat on his bum. :)
And I think I told you that the first time I put the minkee one on him he told me he wanted it to be his 'night bum' (the one he wore to bed). High praise I think!
