but, a temporary stay has been set forth for the next year until the new CPSIA laws can be clarified and rewritten for small craft artisans like myself. It is a start and I am happy for it!
I am still not planning to stock any new inventory in either of my stores until spring, but I will still be accepting custom embroidery (YDME) and sewing orders on a first come first serve basis as I have done in the past.
I hope everyone is enjoying their winter!

Well, if your thread is in the clear (which most are) then you'll be able to do YDME regardless, won't you? I would hope so!!
I'm definitely grateful for the year--it gives me a chance to at least try to sell things that I have in stock (use up fabric I already have), but I agree, I will not be buying anything more until I know what is coming next.
Fingers crossed!!
Oh, BTW, my sister LOVES the brazil dipes. :) I told her she has to send me a pic of her two kiddos in their matching dipes (as soon as kiddo 2 is born--she's due next week, LOL!)
I must have totally missed this comment...so sorry Jenni!
Yes, the threads are in the clear as are snaps, elastic, and most of the fabrics...I am sure they all are, but don't have confirmation of that from all my sources. What a nightmare!
So glad your sis loves the dipes we collab'd on...now that the baby has arrived, I would love to see the kids in their matching dipes!
