At 11:30 last night, I got a desperate IM from my friend Stacy. Seems her baby girl has decided she must have a lovey to snuggle against her face...and if she doesn't have one, she is not a happy camper. Since they co-sleep, Stacy wanted something smaller than a blanket, but big enough to be comforting, so I made these 18" square. And...she wanted them yesterday because they are getting ready to go on a road trip! Nothing like a deadline to get me motivated!
So today I made these minkee lovies. Benartex makes absolutely the best minkee products, the blue is their aqua gelato and the orange is their citrus gelato. I have backed the blue one with a super soft, medium pile poodle fleece. The orange is a denser, low pile poodle fleece. The lovies are yummy!
I hope Saige loves snuggling into them. :)

I am absolutely in love with these Loveys. I knew instantly that you were the one to ask to make them as your work is always perfection. I can't thank you enough, and I know Saige will be thrilled as well. I'll be sure to take a picture of my princess with them for you.
